The 6-A internship was a rewarding experience for me. I started the assignment with little background in the field. Through the mentorship and interaction with other engineers, I was able to design a company product after six months. It was a unique opportunity to see where academia and industry meet.

The J. Francis Reintjes Excellence in 6-A Industrial Practice Award was presented to two outstanding 6-A students, Lokhin Cheng (Analog Devices) and Matthew Hutchinson (MIT Lincoln Laboratory) who demonstrated outstanding performance in their 6-A work assignments.
